Annual Reports and Correspondence 1957-1979.

This series consists of annual reports from the Birmingham Extension Center and College of General Studies, both predecessors of University College, as well as University College annual reports. The materials date from the late 1950s to the late 1970s. Correspondence regards the creation of annual reports and dates from the same period. Of particular importance are the annual reports from the Birmingham Extension Center. These reports, although no more than two or three pages, provide detailed information about the number of students and faculty members at the Center; the number of courses, credit and non-credit, offered at the Center; and the activities at the Center.
